General
An award will only be made to candidates who have passed all papers at one level. Students who have only passed one or two component papers at one level will have their passes credited to them, but no award will be made until the failed components have been successfully re-taken.
Failure to pass all components at one level will not prevent students from continuing with their studies at the higher level. An award will only be made at the higher level when the student has passed all components and holds an award for the lower level.
The Single-Subject awards are made at Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma level to successful candidates in such subjects as Word Processing, Computer Literacy, Lotus 1-2-3, dBASE, MS-DOS and Desktop Publishing. These Single-Subject awards do not exempt students from any part of the professional examinations.
Students who enter for an examination and fail to turn up will be credited with the examination fee provided that they send a doctor's certificate to the Association.
